Steven Soderbergh at Video Park in 1983-85
The now famous Oscar winning
movie director was just one of the guys at Video Park in Baton
Rouge during the mid-80s. Steve (as we called him) was a cameraman
and editor as well as the one with the strange and very creative
ideas. I enjoyed our time working together. Steven is wonderful
to work with.

Few people knew about Steven's pet turkey. The two
were inseparable. The ending is just too sad to relive...
A commercial for the Greater Baton State Fair. At that
time, we didn't have a DVE so Steven "flew" the tickets
around the screen.
We were doing a lot of dubs for Wilson's Department
Store and the tapes were returned after the spot flight. Steven
wanted to be buried in the tapes while on the phone. Something
like being buried in work...
