A Live Shot From Disneyland
Park lining up his live shot with Rob and his dipped
strawberries for KLAS and KOLD. The strawberries are genetically
engineered and patented from a grower in Northern California.
Rob makes his own secret chocolate sauce that doesn't crumble
as you eat. Go to the Candy Palace at Disneyland in the spring
to sample these incredible delights.

I think it is just a matter of when video projection
will replace film projection, not if.
The Huges/JVC projector. One side is film, the other
the video projector. Can you tell which side is which?
The Texas Instruments Digital Light Mirror projector
on one side, the film projector on the other.
The average movie goer would NEVER be able to tell
the difference. Except the video image would never have dirt,
scratches or splices. This is the type of electronic projection
Lucas will use for the Star Wars tests this summer.
The
Xgirls
I ran sound during this shoot for the mXg "Xgirls"
("X" for eXtreme). They dove out of an airplane at 10,000
feet and we could hear them all the way down with a special wireless
microphone setup I used. Here we see Jen O'brien with the harness
on before and after her jump.
Worldwide Disnews
Park with Kim, "Feather" the Boa and Ken
in Adventureland. Gary Heimann and I shot for a week with Disnews
from Europe in the
Digital Betacam PAL format for the worldwide newscast
segments. We had a wonderful time working with our English friends.

The
movie opens June 25, starring
Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider.
We had a great time with Rob at the press junket
as he answered questions from over 40 journalists.
He was a trooper, acting like it was the first
time he had heard the questions. The most asked
question was about his character's accent and
where he came from. The answer? Totally
invented by Rob with some help from the accent
of a baseball card shop owner in New York
that Rob frequents. Eastern Russian, sort of.
The movie will be a huge hit. You'll love it.
