Professional Audio Tape Transfer
We transfer those old audio reel-to-reel tapes to CD or Hard Drive
We take your valuable audio tape and restore it by
transferring to a digital medium,
using vintage and completely restored professional audio recorders
and modern Digidesign Pro Tools.
For audio restoration and noise reduction, we use Apple's Soundtrack
Pro.
We use the highest quality professional equipment, fully restored, to process your tapes.
We use an Ampex 351 tube full-track, Ampex 440B-2 stereo two-track
or full track,
Ampex MM-1100 2" 16 track, Ampex 440B-4 four track on 1/2",
Revox A-77 half-track stereo recorder
and Otari MX-5050 1/4" 4-track and others.
Plus, Fostex 4-track/Stereo cassette, Ampex 8-track, Panasonic Microcassette and NAB broadcast Cart.
Before sending your tapes to a transfer company, ask to see pictures of their audio equipment. Some of mine are shown below.
Your tape is digitized into a Digidesign Pto Tools system and edited, equalized, noise reduced,
compressed and/or
limited, depending on the material and your requests.
We then make a CD, DVD or other type of music or computer file
for you.
We can digitize at 44.1 through 96k, 24 bits to WAVE, AIFF, AAC or MP3 files.
