Each year, Disneyland creates special commercials for certain markets around the western states.
These commercials are made with local talent and involve a contest to give away free trips to Disneyland to some lucky listener or viewer.

Nokia Digital Phones

Jim Harmon from Waveworks Digital in Washington, D.C. came to Southern California to capture lifestyle shots for a new series of digital Nokia phones.
We shot around Newport Beach and inside a studio in Irvine. I handled the technical details and audio.

The amazing set during rehearsals. 60 tons of air conditioning were plugged into the floor to keep it cool.
The stage was very strong in order to support the weight of the set pieces. I was surprised how firm it felt.

The Sony HDCAM HDW-700A is the little brother to the Sony/Panasonic HD electronic cinematography camera. I've been to Panavision to learn about their camera.

The 900 below is the heart of the Sony/Panavision camera. Panavision adds their lenses, an expanded color response, different optical low pass filters and more improvements to the stock camera.

 

  

The one sheet for the Disney Movie "Dinosaur", a fantastic trip back in time. The computer generated animation of the dinosaurs is unbelievable. James Newton Howard, original music composer, is getting his make-up touched up during his interviews at the Disney Feature Animation building. James did a great score for the film.

The movie opens May 19, 2000. You'll love it.
